Outside the lines

Sometimes I stretch my frame of flat linen canvas a bit. I feel like playing with the surface. The series “project shame” is about what may be visible under the surface, or readable between the lines. A fine study to do. I add silk and cardboard for different textures.
And then back to just oil paint and linen, what can that actually do?
